When was Globe Specialty Metals incorporated?

The company, under the name Globe Metallurgical, has a history of producing silicon products that dates as far back as the late 1800s. The company was incorporated in the state of Delaware in December 2004 under the name International Metal Enterprises, Inc. for the initial purpose to serve as a vehicle for the acquisition of companies operating in the metals and mining industries. In November 2006 its name was changed to Globe Specialty Metals, Inc.
